We want to hear from you! This midterm election season has been intense and historic. Where do we go from here and how do we process the results?
Join Public Radio Tulsa for a special Give & Take event: “After the Election” on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Heirloom Rustic Ales, 2113 East Admiral Boulevard!
We are changing up the format up a bit so we can have comprehensive, respectful, and intelligent conversations, breaking into groups to discuss questions such as:
How did the media play a part in the midterm election?
What is YOUR reaction to the midterm elections? Were you surprised or did they meet your expectations?
How do you feel about the role Oklahoma plays in national politics?
Each group will have a professional moderator and at the end we’ll gather for a large group conversation to recap.
Register to secure your seat in the conversation. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. to check in and mingle with your fellow NPR listeners. Local brews will be available for purchase and we’ll provide the cookies! Must be 21 years or older to attend.
What is The Give & Take? It’s a Public Radio Tulsa event series that is an opportunity to build community among public radio listeners and encourage civil discourse on the important issues facing our city, state, and nation, all in a relaxed setting. We also have door prizes! For questions, contact Meghann Ray at meghann-ray@utulsa.edu or (918) 631-3117.
