————— August Presentation —————
"Earth's Climate Through Time"
There are many misconceptions about how Earth’s climate works, and what is ‘normal’ or ‘not normal’. This Think and Drink will focus on different timescales of climate fluctuations on Earth, the processes that drive such changes, and the incredible power of Earth’s oceans to mitigate the temperature and carbon dioxide levels of Earth’s atmosphere.
Speaker: Bethany Theiling, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor, Geochemistry
Department of Geosciences at The University of Tulsa
