We LOVE Tulsa Public Schools! The school year started out with State Superintendent Ryan Walters threatening an unprecedented and unwelcome state takeover of Tulsa Public Schools. Our school communities experienced undeserved stress and chaos as they dove into tending and educating our city's children. But what exactly happened? Why? And what is being done to keep our schools, teachers, and children safe? Come learn and ask questions with a handful of education leaders. Hear about how our locally elected TPS board is working to help student outcomes, learn about TPS reading programs, learn about how public schools are essential to our community and democracy, learn about the issues facing urban school districts and how the community can help!

But don't just learn. Come celebrate teachers and school staff. Generous donors have made food and beverages on the house for teachers. Family and friends of teachers should come and celebrate and get educated too!
